MONTEREY PARK, Calif. — Biola Swim & Dive begins the pinnacle of its competitive season on Wednesday with day one of the Pacific Collegiate Swim & Dive Conference Championships, held at East Los Angeles College.
The meet takes place over four days with a matching meet structure/schedule during each day of competition. All four days begin with a session of preliminary swimming events starting at 9:30 a.m. Diving is next and will begin between 12:45 p.m. and 2 p.m. each day. Each day wraps up with a session of finals at 5 p.m. On the final day, all of the seniors will be recognized during a special ceremony beginning at 4 p.m.
There will be a live stream of the full meet, which is available for purchase. View the live stream information
here. Those who will attend in-person must purchase tickets in advance. Ticket information and purchase links are available
here. The PCSC provides detailed information for in-person spectators at

During this season's championship meet, the Eagles have their sights set on conference gold after finishing second (men) and fourth (women) one season ago. Biola previously won conference championships in the PCSC in 2024 (men), 2023 (men), and 2021 (men, women). Expect big things from Biola, particularly in the diving, backstroke, and men's distance events, where the Eagles lead the rankings heading into competition.
The event also serves as a fantastic opportunity for Biola's swimmers and divers to set new school records and achieve more NCAA national championship qualifying times/marks. Thirteen school records set at last year's championship meet still stand for BU.
So far this season, Biola swimmers and divers have achieved new school records in four different diving events and one men's relay event. In terms of qualifying standards, it's been a historic season for the Eagles' diving contingent as four different divers have hit a qualifying mark in advance of this conference championship meet. Four diving qualifications is a new program-high for a single-season.
See below for the breakdown of divers who've qualified for the NCAA Diving Championship and in which events they've attained qualification.
Peyton Nelson - 1 meter dive, 3 meter dive
Lauren Smith - 1 meter dive
Eliana Ko - 1 meter dive
Caleb Pook - 1 meter dive, 3 meter dive
Three swimmers enter the conference championship meet with NCAA qualifying times wrapped up. Each of the following achieved NCAA B qualifying times during the midseason La Verne Winter Invitational. Hitting the B standard qualifies the swimmer as eligible for championship selection, but does not guarantee an invitation to the meet.
