LA MIRADA---Biola's Melt von Molendorff was named the PacWest Conference's Runner of the Week after a standout performance at the Lewis Invitational in Romeoville, Illinois.

This marks his second PacWest Runner of the Week honor of the season and the fourth of his Biola career.

The Junior from South Africa competed among one of the most talented fields in the nation and placed eighth overall with a time of 24:17.1. The meet featured 12 nationally ranked programs, making von Molendorff's top-10 finish one of the most impressive of his collegiate career.

Von Molendorff, who placed third at the 2024 PacWest Championships, has now finished inside the top 12 in every race this season.
