LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Each year the
PacWest Conference encourages its member institutions to participate in a conference-wide canned food drive. This year, Biola's student-athlete advisory committee (SAAC) is focusing it's attention on home games in March & April to collect as much as possible to benefit the
food bank ministry at nearby
Grace Evangelical Free Church.
All month long Biola staff will be at each ticketed home athletic event collecting cans from visitors and Biola fans alike. A donation of five canned goods will be good for one free admission to an athletic event (general admission price is normally $10). Biola students, staff, faculty and alumni are always granted free admission to home events, but we encourage you to consider donating as well.
Additionally, donations will be accepted to the athletics office all throughout the month. To arrange a drop-off simply drop by during regular business hours or arrange with Neil Morgan via
neil.morgan@biola.edu.
