IRVINE, Calif. --- Biola Women's Golf Brady Turnquist earns PacWest Women's Golfer of the Week honors as announced on Thursday.

Just as she did in her freshman campaign, Biola Golf's Brady Turnquist opened her sophomore season with a tournament win at the PLNU Sea Lion Invitational.

There was no lack of competition as Turnquist and the Eagles faced off against some of the top teams from the PacWest and CCAA including ART U who is currently receiving votes in the latest Women's Golf Coaches Association. poll. 

Brady opened the tournament carding a team-best score of 75, just three-over-par to st in seventh place on the individual leaderboard after the opening round. 

Turnquist battled through an injury on both days of the tournament, but that didn't stop the sophomore from improving her round two score by four strokes and shooting one-under-par at 71 to finish in first place.

As a program, Biola finished tied for second place at the PLNU Sea Lion Invitational while five Eagles finished in the top-15. Biola is back in action on Thursday, October 7 as the Eagles head to Utah for the Westminister Wasatch Invitational. For live stats links and updates check athletics.biola.edu.
