Biola started its comeback with three runs in the top of the third. DaSilva and Lauren Gandy opened the inning with back-to-back singles, followed by a one-out single by Jensen to load the bases. Hudson drew a walk to force home the first run, then Moyer plated two with a single to center to make it 6-3.
Biola scored another run in the fourth on a sacrifice fly by Roberts–who pinch-hit for Gandy. Biola then tied the game with two in the top of the fifth. With one out Johnson, Moyer and Kacie Lyding collected singles to load the bases, then Morgan Facchini drove home one with an RBI-ground out and DaSilva plated another with a single up the middle.
