Edward Campana led Biola to a fourth-place finish at the 2014 Collegiate Winter invite with three days of strong swimming.

The junior transfer competed in seven total events during the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of competition, including five relays and three individual events.

His best swim of the competition came in the 200-backstroke, where he took first place in the prelims and the finals. His 1:53.66 in the finals earned him a national quallifying time in that event. 

Campana also helped Biola to strong finishes in the 200-medley, 800-freestyle, 200-freestyle, 400-freestyle and 400-medley relays and swam to a sixth-place finish in the 100-butterfly finals (:52.40).

Campana and the Eagles get a bit of a break, but will be training hard over Interterm to prepare for the next meet, a dual meet against Fresno Pacific on Jan. 31.
