Taylor Venegas was the only player on the Biola roster to appear on the scoresheet in both of the Eagles' in-conference wins this week.

The sophomore picked up her fifth and sixth goals of the season in wins over Arizona Christian and Hope International. Venegas' six goals through these first nine games doubles her total scoring output from her freshman season.

She is averaging one goal per 4.5 shots and scores on nearly 50 percent of her shot-on-goal attempts. She is on pace to notch double-digit goals in 2014, a feat that has been accomplished just seven times in Biola Women's Soccer history. Three of the seven previous happenings came to Rianne Schorel, a 2014 inductee into the Biola Athletics Hall of Fame.

Venegas and the crew have another two Golden State Athletic Conference matchups this week. They host No. 2 Westmont Tuesday evening and play William Jessup on Saturday afternoon.
