Amy Weststeyn anchored the Eagles offensive attack in two wins at the Vanguard University Tournament this week.
 
The junior outside hitter racked up 20 kills in 34 total attempts in games against La Sierra and CSU San Marcos.
 
She led the team in total kills on the weekend, but even more impressive was her accuracy as she hit .497 and only had three attack errors.
 
Weststeyn’s 20 kills put her over the 100-kill mark on the season as she leads the team with 101. She also leads the GSAC with a .478 hitting percentage, over .100 better than the second best conference player.
 
The Eagles return to Chase Gymnasium this upcoming Saturday as they face The Master’s in their conference opener at 7 p.m.
