Adijat Adams scored 33 points and added 21 rebounds to lead Biola to a pair of wins during the first week of the new year. She scored 15 points, had 11 assists, four blocks and a steal as Biola defeated Cal State San Marcos 61-42 on Thursday. Her solid week earned her GSAC Player of the Week honors.
Adams followed that up with another strong showing on Saturday, recording 18 points on 9-of-16 shooting, adding 10 rebounds, one block and one steal to lead the Eagles past William Jessup, 62-47.
For the season, Adams is averaging 16.6 points and 9.4 rebounds per contest, both of which rank fourth in the GSAC. She also ranks third in the conference in shooting percentage, hitting 52.4 percent from the field.
