Alex Talma played a large role in No. 1 Biola Men's Basketball securing two victories this week to improve to 13-1 on the season.

The New Zealander averaged 13.5 points-per-game and 4.5 rebounds-per-game and logged around 20 minutes in each outing to help the Eagles beat Northwest Indian College and Life Pacific.

He shot 5-of-7 for 11 points against Life Pacific and was even more dangerous against Northwest Indian as he piled on 16 points on 8-of-12 shooting. He made a team-high 69 percent of his shots from the floor for the week.

On the season he's shooting 55 percent and is one of four Biola players averaging double-digit scoring.

Talma and the Eagles have this whole week off for Christmas and return to the floor when they host Fraser Valley at 2:00 p.m. on December 31.
