Senior outside hitter Christine Douglas has been selected as Biola Athletics Player of the Week after recording 31 kills in two matches last week. Douglas averaged 5.17 kills per set last week and added four blocks for the Eagles.

On Tuesday, Douglas recorded 16 kills and posted a .517 attack percentage in Biola's three-set win at San Diego Christian College. She followed that up with 15 kills in the Eagles' loss to No. 2 Concordia on Saturday.

Douglas currently leads the GSAC with a 4.03 kills per set average and has a team-best 246 kills on the season. For her career, Douglas is just five kills shy of 1,300, ranking her seventh on the all-time kill list at Biola despite the fact she has played just three seasons with the Eagles.
