2009: Quickly became one of the top goalkeepers in the NAIA as a sophomore…started all 22 matches, playing 2,100 minutes in goal…faced 254 shots and made 66 saves while posting a 0.94 goals against average and a 13-5-4 record…established a Biola record by posting shutouts in the first seven matches of the season, a record 642 minute-scoreless streak…had school-record 11 shutouts over the course of the season…helped Biola win three shootouts during the team’s playoff run including pair in the NAIA National Tournament…picked up an assist on a Biola goal in the Eagles 3-2 victory over Hope International University…faced season-high 18 shots and made six saves in the NAIA Second Round match against Hastings University (Neb.), settling for an official tie, but helping the team advance with a shootout victory…went 2-2-4 in eight overtime contests.
2008: Played in eight matches as a true freshman, making the final four starts after an injury to the starting goalkeeper...posted a 2-2-1 record with one shutout, recording 30 saves and posting a 1.44 GAA...Earned his first collegiate shutout with a four-save performance as Biola defeated California Baptist 2-1 (Oct. 28)...followed that up with his first Biola shutout, making three saves in a 2-0 win at San Diego Christian (Nov. 1).
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered at Rancho Bernardo High School for two years…two-time First-Team All-Palomar League and once a Second-Team All-CIF selection for the Broncos…also participated in track at RBHS, qualifying for the state meet in the 800m and helping the team to a Palomar League title and second-place CIF finish.
PERSONAL: Major is Business Management and plans to pursue a career in Hotel Management…Parents are Michelle and Don…Has five brothers, Nathanael (26), A.J. (24), Jared (21), Jacob (17), and Sam (13)…Brother Jared is a starting defender for Biola.
