Archer Adds Depth To Men's Tennis

Noah Archer joins Biola Men's Tennis to provide more depth, especially at doubles.

WEST LINN, Ore.—Noah Archer of the Westside Christian High School Eagles has decided to soar from one nest to another. He is committed to compete in Biola's men's tennis program beginning in the fall of 2016.

Archer was a four year letter winner for the Westside Christian Eagles where he was also a captain his senior year. He saw success playing in the No. 2 spot in singles for a majority of his high school career and the No. 1 spot in doubles his junior and senior year.

"We are happy to have Noah joining the team next year," said Brent Worthington, who recruited Noah to join the team. "His desire and excitement to compete at Biola was so evident and he will bring important depth to the roster. Everyone I talked to about Noah only had the finest things to say about who he is as a person as well as his tennis abilities."

Archer placed third in league doubles his senior season as well as made it to the round of 16 in doubles at the state tournament. He led his team to a first place finish in league in the same year after a couple second place finishes his freshman and junior seasons.

Archer plans to major in design with career aspirations to become a product designer.

"I chose Biola because of the great Christian community Biola has to offer," said Archer. "Nothing beats the location."
