JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. --- Biola's Natasha Miller won two more NAIA Individual Titles to help the Eagles to a program-best fifth place finish at the 2010 NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday at the MSHA/ETSU Athletic Center on the campus of East Tennessee State University.

The Biola women's team scored 40 points overall, finishing just behind fourth-place Azusa Pacific, and bettering on its eighth-place finish a year ago.

Just as she defended her title in the women's pentathlon, Miller was named women's most valuable performer for the second straight year, scoring 31.5 of Biola's 40 points. For the meet, Miller won the pentathlon with a record setting score of 3,992 points, and had first-place finishes in both the 60-meter hurdles and the high jump on Saturday. She also was on the third place distance medley relay and competed in the triple jump. Miller is a six -time NAIA National Champion, a three-time NAIA meet MVP winner and a 15-time NAIA All-American.

On the final day, Miller came from behind in the 60-meter hurdles to win in a PR school record time of 8.61 seconds. This was a huge improvement on her previous best of 8.75.

Miller also came through and cleared 1.75 meters on her third attempt and 1.80 meters (5 feet, 10-3/4 inches) on her first attempt to clinch her second national high jump national title. This mark equals her school record that she set just a couple days before in the pentathlon and is just shy of 1.81 meters which she cleared last May at the National Outdoor Championships.

Miller joined teammates Kelsey Gasner), Katie Thede, and Nychele Fischetti and alternate Brooke Forsi to secure a third-place finish in the Distance Medley Relay. Their time of 12:00.35 was seven seconds faster then the school record, 17 seconds faster then what they ran in the semi-finals and five seconds faster then last year's winning time for the event.
