LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Biola University junior netminder Aaron Fenlason was named a 2010 NAIA Men's Soccer First-Team All-American and senior Kennedy Chongo earned Honorable Mention honors as the All-America teams were announced by the NAIA on Monday.

Fenlason, a junior from Rancho Bernardo, was the lone goalkeeper on the first-team after posting impressive numbers this season. He finished third in the GSAC and 22nd in the nation in goals against average, surrendering just 0.82 goals per game. He led the conference in saves with 68 (3.51 per contest) and was second in save percentage at .810 and recorded seven shutouts on the season.

Despite allowing just 16 goals in 19 matches, the junior was saddled with an 8-10-1 overall record as seven of his 10 losses were by 1-0 scores.

Chongo, a senior from Zambia, wrapped up a stellar career with nine goals and 19 points in 18 matches this season. Chongo seemed to save his best for last, scoring four of his goals in Biola's final three matches. In the Eagles' regular season finale, Chongo worked his way through the defense of The Master's College and fired a shot from between three defenders for the game-winning goal. It was one of two goals he scored in the game and his second match-winner of the season. 

Chongo wraps up his career with 23 goals in just three seasons, ranking him among the top players in program history.

Biola wrapped up the 2010 season with a record of 8-10-1, reaching the GSAC semifinals before falling to the eventual GSAC champions, Vanguard University. 

Fenlason is Biola's 12th NAIA Men's Soccer All-American, the first from Biola since 2008 and just the third to win the award since 1994.
