COMPLETE RESULTS
SANTA CLARITA, Calif. --- Biola's men's golf team finished seventh in a tough 12-team field on Tuesday at The Master's College Fall Invitational at the Robinson Ranch Golf Club in Santa Clarita.
The Eagles finished the three-round tournament with a 97-over-par 961 (86-75-76), coming back from a poor first-round performance which saw them in 10th place to finish in seventh overall. NCAA Division II Sonoma State University won the tournament with an 890.
Freshman
Jordan Swanson took top honors for Biola, carding a three-round 237 (86-75-76) to finish 22nd overall in the field of 60 golfers. Fellow freshman
Joshua Mathis was one shot behind, tied for 25th with a 238 (83-76-80).
Sophomore
John Graham recorded a 244 (80-80-84), good enough for 35th place overall. Rounding out the Eagles' squad were senior
Mike Belleggie in 36th place (246=81-86-79) and junior
Tim Goodfriend in 52nd (257=84-83-90).
Biola closes out the fall portion of the schedule on Monday and Tuesday, Nov. 9-10, at the Holy Names Fall Invitational in Oakland, CA.
