LA MIRADA, Calif. --- The Biola University Department of Athletics is pleased to once again host the Christian singing group "Greater Vision" for a concert on Monday, May 5, at 7:00 p.m. Fullerton First Evangelical Free Church.
Since organizing in 1990, Greater Vision has been delighting audiences with their rich vocal blend and their effective ability to communicate the message of the gospel. Throughout the past 16 years, Greater Vision has established a firm place at the pinnacle of Christian music, and has become the most awarded trio in the history of gospel music.
The vocals and rich harmony Greater Vision has become recognized for are a direct result of the blending of three unique and extremely versitile vocalists. Gerald Wolfe, the groups founder and emcee, sings the lead. Prolific songwriter, Rodney Griffin, handles the baritone part for the trio, while Jason Waldroup, the groups youngest member, provides the exceptional tenor part.
Also appearing will be "The Heritage Kids" a group of 45 young people from San Diego who combine outstanding vocals with a great patriotic message.
Tickets for the concert cost $12 in advance or $15 at the door and are available through TicketForce, by contacting Ken Crawford at (562) 777-4082, or in person at the Biola Athletics Office.
All ticket holders wil also be entered into a drawing for a three-day, two-night stay at the Grand Pacific Palisade Resort in Carlsbad, CA.
