LA MIRADA, Calif. — The Biola University golf team took a break from midseason training to play a weekend of golf at a number of the best courses in the United States, making a trip up to the Bay Area in late January.
The Eagles were able to play Poppy Hills, Spyglass Hill and Pasatiempo Golf Course in Santa Cruz during a midseason trip.
"The trip was a great time of fellowship and practice," said Head Coach John Lane. "It was such a blessing to play some of the best courses in the world."
Senior Greg Bodine had the shot of the weekend as he holed out from 40 yards on the picturesque 18th hole at Spyglass Hill.
"All the guys are excited for the upcoming Spring Season and are hard at work trying to improve their games," said Lane.
Biola begins the spring portion of its schedule on March 3, traveling to the Point Loma Nazarene tournament.
