AVONDALE, Ariz. --- Senior Jennifer Yoo shot a six-over-par 78 to finish in eighth place overall on Tuesday at the Grand Canyon Fall Women's Golf Classic played at Coldwater Golf Club in Avondale.

Yoo and fellow senior Stefani Washburn closed out the final 18 holes of Biola's first women's soccer competition in school history.

Yoo finished with a five-over 149 (71-78=149) to place eighth in her first tournament as an Eagle. Lindsey Bergeon of Florida Southern and Malen Thornberg of Cal Baptist tied for first place overall with a two-under 142.

Washburn, competing in her first collegiate tournament, was 87th overall with a score of 267.

Biola closes out the short fall portion of its schedule next week, traveling north for the Cal State Monterey Bay Invitational on Monday and Tuesday (Oct. 1-2).
