MONTEREY, Calif. --- Biola's Jennifer Yoo placed sixth out of 110 golfers at the Cal State Monterey Bay Lady Otter Invitational on Tuesday at Laguna Seca Golf Ranch in Monterey.

Yoo fired a six-over 78 in the second round after a first-round 82, finishing with a 16-over 160 in her final round of the fall season.

Yoo, who was competing as an individual in the tournament, played well despite tough conditions and temperatures much lower than she was used to. However, she played well down the stretch, making a nice birdie butt on the 15th hole to help her finish strong down the stretch.

Cal Baptist's Malin Thornberg took medalist honors with a two-over 146 while Chico State University won the team title.

The tournament wrapped up the fall portion of the women's golf schedule and the team will return to action in February.
