LA MIRADA, Calif. --- Biola Head Coach
Dee Henry switched up things quite a bit on Tuesday and was pleased with the overall effort despite the lopsided 9-0 final score in the Eagles' GSAC opener at the Biola Tennis Center.
Biola drops to 1-3 on the season and to 0-1 in conference play while the Lions improve to 1-0 and to 1-0 in GSAC.
Due to sickness, the Eagles went up against the highly-ranked Lions without their No. 1 singles player,
Kia Choi. The freshman played just her doubles match while Coach Henry chose to shuffle the singles lineup.
In doubles play, Biola saw a solid performance from its No.3 team, which, despite losing 8-5, stayed close to its opponents throughout.
The Eagles return to action on Saturday, hosting Concordia University in a GSAC contest at the Biola Tennis Center. First serve is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
