IRVINE, Calif. --- Despite running on a rain-soaked afternoon, the Biola track and field team qualified five more individuals for the NAIA Indoor Championships as the men's Distance Medley Relay and freshman Nychele Fischetti earned qualifying marks on Saturday at the Concordia Indoor Qualifier.

The distance medley relay team of Kyle McNulty, Gabe Aeschliman, Carter Williams and David Ricksecker earned a provisional qualifying time of 10:24.27. The relay is comprised of the 1,200m, the 400m, 800m, and 1,600m runs.

Also joining the contingent heading to the NAIA Indoor Championships in March was Fischetti, who qualified in the mile, finishing second overall with a time of 5:14.43. The time exceeds the provisional standard in the event.

Biola returns to action on Saturday (Feb. 14), heading to the Azusa Pacific Indoor Qualifier.
