Kristin Schmidt placed ninth in the 10k

ST. LOUIS — Despite light rains which greeted competitors at the 2008 NAIA Outdoor Championships, Biola sophomore Kristin Schmidt did not let the wet weather bother her, knocking two seconds off her personal best time to finish ninth in the 10,000 on Thursday.
