Hello Ladies!

Thank you for your interest in Biola University’s Cheer program. Here at Biola University we maintain a reputation for high standards of service and excellence in all we do. Whatever we do, we seek to serve the Lord first. The working out of the vision for Biola University can be experienced in many arenas on our campus, and Biola University Cheerleading is no different. We are members of both the Body of Christ at large as well as an integral part of the Biola Community as servant leaders. 

During the 2007-2008 school year, the current Cheer Team members continue to do an incredible job laying the foundations necessary for a promising future for the Biola University Cheer Program.  Those foundations are first and foremost about serving the Lord Jesus Christ with our whole selves; Mind, Spirit, Soul, & Body.

As you consider Biola Cheer, please keep this in mind: we are looking for ATHLETES. We work hard. God is not honored by mediocrity, He is honored by excellence. Above all, we desire to be excellent in our efforts, and as a result, we become excellent in our performance. Thus, we will excel in all aspects of cheerleading.  

A cheerleader by definition shares the gift of encouragement with her team mates and her community - she is a servant. We, as a part of the Body of Christ are all servants.  If you are interested in servant-leadership through excellence in cheerleading, then Biola may be the place for you. The young women chosen to be a part of this program will have the opportunity to shape this program from the ground up...to be a part of something new that I absolutely believe God is doing.

It’s not just you. Not just the rest of the girls on your team. Not just your coaches. Not just Biola Athletics. God has chosen this time. Yes, it is just cheerleading, but then again it is not just cheerleading.
